Dean A. Beaupain is one of Maine’s most experienced and respected lawyers. With over 40 years of sound experience, there isn’t much that he hasn’t done or cannot do. A Millinocket native, Dean resides in Bangor, Maine, and practices from both Bangor and Millinocket. Dean’s practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions involving very large tracts of land. When not practicing law, Dean serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ambejejus Lake Association (Rock Ridge Road) and serves as president. Dean graduated from Stearns High School in 1969, the University of Maine at Orono in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and from the University of Maine School of Law in 1976 with a Juris Doctor degree. He has practiced law in northern Maine since 1976 and has served as a member and chairman of the Millinocket Town Council as well as interim town manager. Dean has served as chairman of the Bangor Board of Assessment Review for over ten years and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Maine Avenue Manor since 1980. Dean also has extensive experience representing municipalities and for-profit and non-profit corporations. He has formed a number of lot owner associations and advises lot owner associations, condominium associations, and planned unit development associations. His family has had a camp on Ambajejus Lake since 1958.
